SYNOPSIS

Anissa has nothing but passionate and unconditional love for her grandmother Takia. But Takia is getting weaker day after day. Her life only exists within the four walls of her living room. Anissa wished she could stop time and still be the little grand-daughter her grandmother loves so dearly. But she will have to learn to make room for herself again.

After her studies at La Fémis in Paris, Sonia Franco explores different kind of forms in documentary creation : films, sound pieces, workshops (within the association « Yeux de L’Ouïe » in prison environment).

Voices is her first feature documentary.
